Would You Do A Detox Diet For Healthier Body And Become Rich As A Benefit?

When you maintain a detox diet for healthier body you are gaining control of vanquishing chronic diseases, becoming rich, and certainly reducing your medical debt at the same time. A number of societal changes over the last say 60 years seems to be the reasons for this obesity.

As you gain weight, lose fitness, stress and sleep disturbances creep into your life, you feel increasingly exhausted and less motivated to even move.

Then the problems worsen. We seek relief by self-medicating with caffeine, medicines, weight-loss pills, high-calorie energy foods and drinks, alcohol, tobacco and so on.

So the question becomes what happened to create this obesity epidemic.

Why Has Our Society Become Obesity Prone?

Imagine this headline “Obesity Vanquished Population Freed Of Overweight”. WOW!  With that happening it would mean millions, and I mean millions of people would be freed from the threat, and of chronic diseases that’s associated with obesity - like high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, cancer and others.

Wouldn’t you want to be one of those individuals being freed?

Our nations spending on the related health care would plummet by the billions, freeing immense resources for other uses.

A detox diet is done the nutritious way is the way to go. But first we have to become aware of the hidden sugars that are within our foods.

Limiting Your Sugar Intake

In making sure you have a hold on your sugar intake, I'm sure you are skipping cookies, cake or other sweet treats. Give yourself an A for that, but what you may not realize is that you’re probably still eating more sugar than you think.

Sugar and sugar cane. https://www.wocdetox.com/detox-diet-for-healthier-body.html

From evolutionary times our bodies were built to crave sugar, found in our Mother’s breast milk, and also found in nature, such as whole fruit and honey. However, the body has also been programmed to store this sugar as fat.

Since sugar was only available in the summer months, the body had to prepare for the long winter ahead with limited calories.

In modern times, we’ve become inundated with sugar in the form of processed foods, and the body is not equipped to handle it. This can result in additional fat storage and contribute to chronic diseases such as, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity.

So the smart thing to do in maintaining a detox diet for healthier body is to limit your consumption of refined sugar, but it requires being mindful of ingredients. Hidden sugars appear in particularly everything, from yogurt to salad dressing to protein bars.

To help you in identifying added sugars, look at the ingredients list. Some major clues that an ingredient is an added sugar include:

  • It has syrup (examples: corn syrup, rice syrup)

  • The words ends in "one" (examples: fructose, sucrose, maltose, dextrose).

  • "Sugar" is in the name (examples: raw sugar, cane sugar, brown sugar, confectionary sugar).

Other examples of added sugar include fruit nectars, concentrates of juices, honey, agave and molasses.

To consume a detox diet for healthier body means keeping some of these things in mind:

Instant Oatmeal

Instant packets are convenient, but one serving of flavored oats may have 4 teaspoons of sugar. And you may even add more in the form of raisin, honey, fresh fruits. So I suggest you buy the unsweetened kinds and then add fruit and spices for a flavorful taste.

Jam

You know that jams and jelly taste sweet, but they can also get you because they look like fruit! Add a hit of sweetness to toast by topping it with real berries.

Dried Fruit

As if nature's candy wasn't sweet enough, sometimes dried fruit contains added sugar. Look for unsweetened varieties when possible.

Coffee Drinks

Flavored versions pack upwards of 12 grams of added sugar in 12 ounces, half of what the American Heart Association recommends you drink for an entire day — and that's just your morning cup! Skip the sweetener and use cinnamon and nutmeg to flavor instead.

Granola Bars

The word granola still gets a health halo, but since so many are made with added sugar and chocolate, it's basically dessert.

Know that sugar will spike your blood sugar levels, but you do have some people more sensitive than others. For example, some people are affected by the natural sugar found in fruit.

Protecting your heart health includes HDL, LDL, total cholesterol, and triglyceride count, is very important. Get to know your number here and speak with your healthcare practitioner about your specific needs.
